Ban on Plastic Usage Lifted by Maharashtra Government

E-commerce giant Flipkart has recently lifted its ban on the use of plastic packaging for orders shipped to the Indian state of Maharashtra.

The move comes after the Maharashtra government lifted its own ban on plastic usage, allowing businesses to once again use plastic packaging materials.

In light of the government lifting its own ban, Flipkart has decided to follow suit and lift the ban for its sellers.

This change in packaging will be applicable to all new Maharashtra Orders that you will receive going forward - You can choose to use Plastic Flyers (minimum 50 Microns) instead of Paper Bags. This will further help you reduce damages and save costs.
